Smaklig måltid means something along the lines of 'bon appetit.' By that we obviously mean 'have a nice meal' courtesy of a combination of your very own cooking skills and our beautiful Scandi-style kitchen. Prepare something yummy, snack on some treats that we'll leave for you, or go to Woodstock, Oxford or beyond to one of the thousands of excellent restaurants representing both fine British and international cuisine. We also mean that we hope that you have a delicious, restful time spent in our little home from home.
About us We (Laine & Magnus) are are a British-Swedish couple who enjoy sharing our home with those who will treat it with respect and remember we actually live there!
The artwork The paintings and mixed media artwork that you will see around the house are all originals by Laine (apart from the print in the first-floor hall, which is painted by one of our art heroes, the brilliant British artist, Ben Fenton, see link below). These artworks are not for sale but if you would like a framed fine art print of any of the work, that can be arranged. There is also a portfolio of many other original and print copies of Laine's paintings and mixed-media works for sale, available at this link. All proceeds go to The Parent Child Clinic CIC, a community interest company supporting the psychological health of families and children in the UK.
